Partners Trust "Great Neighbors Days"
The objective was straightforward enough: get more people into the local
branches so we can sell more services. The campaign we devised was simple
but multi-faceted. We called it "Great Neighbors Days at Partners Trust
Bank." With three slightly different versions of the same campaign, we ran
these open house events in the Southern Tier, Mohawk Valley and Central NY
regions.
The branch managers and employees were the stars of the show, with Riger
providing radio, direct mail, print, P.O.P. and outdoor advertising support
aimed at building traffic during the events. Live radio remote broadcasts,
Buddy the (B-Mets) Bee, Baxter the (BU) Bearcat, clowns, face painters,
balloon hat makers and more helped make each branch's open house event even
more special. Each branch partnered with its neighborhood merchants to add
to the theme. A radio contest took calls from community members who
nominated "Great Neighbors" in their lives, and winners were honored the
end of the campaign. Special offers were popular, serving to bring new
customers into the fold and sell new services to current customers as well.
