GHS Federal Credit Union wanted their second-generation Web site to both convey the warmth of the credit union and be a customizable showcase for its products and advantages.
Riger recommended a cheerful palette and "open" design to convey accessibility — an attribute affirmed in the site's straightforward structure and navigation. Generous white space and an uncluttered feel enhance the feeling that everything in this informative site is "right out in the open."
At the same time, Riger worked with the developer to ensure GHS staff could easily manage key aspects of the site's content on their own. An easy-to-use admin tool lets the client change copy, post different loan specials in pop-up windows, and even retrieve home page mini-survey results quickly and as often as they like.
The site immediately won high marks from both staffers and the 3,000 credit union members who now visit the site to do their online banking.
