Heather joined Riger Advertising after serving as an intern with the agency during her final semester at SUNY Cortland. She quickly demonstrated a quiet, yet certain, self-confidence. And her enthusiasm, determination and work ethic made it clear; she would be a definite asset to the Riger team.

Today, she spends much of her time coordinating telephone directory advertising for a major client in a several state region. She needs to be on top of changes in listing information, ad costs, directory close dates and publishing dates. In order to keep each operating company informed, Heather composes and sends an updated, personal status report at the end of each month. The work requires precision and thoroughness and she is up to the task. Because when it comes to directory ad and hotline number placements, listing a wrong number is not an option!

Her other duties at Riger include developing and distributing client news releases to radio and TV stations, as well as local and regional publications. Thanks to her persistence and numerous follow-up calls, Heather makes sure the media always knows the who, what, when, where, and why of an event. She is also responsible for invoice reconciliation, numerous spreadsheet updates, research and creative brainstorming.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Cortland in 2006, earning a communications degree with a concentration in public relations and advertising. At Cortland, she was inducted into Tau Sigma Honor Society.

Heather grew up on a dairy farm in Marathon, NY, and attended Cincinnatus Christian Academy from kindergarten through 12th grade. The Class of 2001 included only six other students. She enjoys married life and spending time with her parents, older brother and younger sister. She also teaches Sunday school at the First Baptist Church of Cincinnatus, where she has been attending since she was a toddler.
