Patty is a valuable veteran of the advertising trenches, with over 25 years of experience here at Riger. Her can-do attitude and ability to organize and coordinate large quantities of work without missing a deadline are great assets to the Agency and our clients.

With a strong and varied background as assistant office manager, account assistant, production coordinator and even weekend entrepreneurship (Christmas tree farming), Patty brings strong experience, analytical skills and practical thinking to the table. As Riger’s media buyer, her duties include analyzing and buying media on behalf of our clients. Patty joined Riger in 1978 after graduating from Ridley Lowell Business Institute.

Today, together with her husband and two daughters, she operates a growing family business—a Christmas tree farm—in Maine, New York. Work, trees, girls’ softball and field hockey keep the Farro family on the run. And, as her daughters have grown, Patty has discovered two favorite pastimes—adult slow pitch softball (playing both in the field and on the mound) and bass fishing (from her family’s summer place on Cayuga Lake).
