Rob joined Riger Advertising as special projects
manager in early 2000 after a number of years as a key vendor
to our organization. In his current capacity of creative director, he works on
a broad assortment of projects across the Agency's client
roster, drawing from his diverse talents in copywriting, broadcast
production, graphic design and interactive media.
After graduating from Binghamton University with a degree
in creative writing, Rob worked as a reporter and copywriter
in local radio. Following that, he spent four years as commercial
producer for WBNG-TV, the CBS affiliate in Binghamton. Writing,
producing and directing spots for scores of local and regional
clients, he quickly acquired a reputation for delivering highly
creative work on time and within budget.
Rob left the area to work as a copywriter for Healy-Schutte
Advertising in Rochester and Buffalo, then returned to Binghamton
to begin a six-year stint as creative director and vice president
of Rosanne Sall Advertising. Although he is entirely self-taught
in the field of graphic design, his work has consistently
attracted both awards and, more importantly, results.
For seven years before joining Riger, Rob served as independent creative director of his own freelance business. Whether working for clients
around the corner or as far away as Budapest, Rob has brought
creativity, practicality, wit and speed to each project— qualities that led to his building long-term client relationships
based on trust and mutual appreciation for a job well done.
In addition to his professional obligations, Rob has donated
many hours to community service, especially for the United
Way and as past treasurer of Binghamton Imaginink (formerly
RiverQuest). A student of the American Civil War, he attends
the Gettysburg College Civil War Institute, a week-long conference held each
summer in Gettysburg, PA, with participants from all over
the world.
